Monday, July 19, 2010 at 11:39AM Simon Pegg Back for 'Mission: Impossible 4'
I'm still wondering if there's another shoe left to fall on this whole Mission: Impossible 4 thing. With Knight and
Day not doing very much business - it's barely over $130 million worldwide - there was talk that Tom Cruise would get a lot of help in the fourth
movie, a young buck to carry the torch moving forward. Also: A smaller budget.

Paramount didn't really say one way or the other what was happening when it confirmed it was committed to Cruise returning last week, so I'm waiting
for the Rosie Huntington-Whiteley moment, I guess. In related news, The Hollywood Reporter says Simon Pegg will be back as Ethan Hunt's M, Benji
Dunn. He brought a lot to the third one, I thought, but then again, so did just about everybody. It's a shame Tom Cruise went crazy around the time
M:I 3 was released; it holds up far better than the others.
J.J. Abrams isn't directing this time, and Brad Bird is. Bird is one of the great storytelling directors going, but this is his first live-action
feature film, and while some principals are the same, it's not exactly like switching from guitar to bass, especially on this scale.
The Reporter says it looks as though the film will get underway in September, and that Bird will be taking a look at various actors this week. M:I 4 won't be in theaters until next December, and since they've still got to pinpoint a budget, it's probably wise that they moved it from the summer release schedule.I still think it has plenty of potential to be a solid action flick, but I do hope Paramount doesn't wring its hands too much over Cruise not being the star he used to be. Just don't make the movie if that's the concern, but the worst possible scenario is having him pass the baton to somebody else mid-movie.

It’s a film called Hungry for You and it’s in pre-production now. I play the lead vampire. I didn’t want to be a vampire but was forced into it so I’m struggling with my vampire powers and not wanting to turn the girl I love into a vampire. The script is really great and has a wonderful storyline. It’s been fun. The creator, Linda Andersson, has a really cool comic strip of Hungry for You that she is going to release soon. It’s sort of a teaser and a way to start the marketing for the project in a bigger level.
