Trailer - Dwayne Johnson's New Action Flick 'Faster'

I suppose I shouldn't complain, since I just lamented the career arc of Dwayne Johnson as not having nearly enough action movies. Because here's a teaser for Faster, and it looks like every other damn movie with a guy in a car who brandishes a gun. I was not careful about what I wished for. The synopsis tells you how far off the beaten path this one is: "An ex-con sets out to avenge his brother's death after they were double-crossed during a heist years ago. During his campaign, however, he's tracked by a veteran cop and an egocentric hit man." Well, I've got no sympathy for you; stop robbing banks. Anyway, he goes zoom zoom and bang bang and I'll bet he doesn't die at the end. Could be Rundown fun...or it could be Doom forgettable. We'll hope for Rundown, because in addition to Billy Bob Thornton, who features in the trailer, we've got Carla Gugino, Jennifer Carpenter, Moon Bloodgood, and Maggie Grace, so consider the female bases covered.
