Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 12:46AM Watching 'Twilight' Kills a Guy in New Zealand
OK, so watching The Twilight Saga: Eclipse didn't actually kill somebody, at least it's not likely that was the cause. But here's what happened, according to Stuff from New Zealand: A 23-year-old man attending a screening of the film in Wellington was found by the cleaning crew after a 6pm screening of the film on July 4th.

The man is described as a "transient" and was found slumped in his seat, and initially, the cleaning crew thought he had just fallen asleep. Foul play is not suspected in his death and he had no obvious injuries, local authorities said.
It's not the first death at a movie, even recently, but it is the first one in a while that doesn't involve a weapon or a suspect. Sad that that is the case, as well, but there it is. The late moviegoer had no fixed address, but was believed to live in the Wellington area and had been "informally" identified, though his family had not yet been reached.
