Robert Rodriguez's upcoming 'Spy Kids 4' is set to star Jessica Alba. Alba is most recognized for her roles in Sin City, also directed by Rodriguez, Into the Blue, and most recently The Killer Inside Me. Alba has been on Hollywood's radar for quite some time co-starring in a slew of teen comedies such as, Idle Hands and Never Been Kissed, but her breakout role came in 2005 in the hit film Sin City.
In the film based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel, Alba portrayed Nancy Callahan, the exotic dancer with a heart of gold. Robert Rodriguez also directed Alba in the upcoming action crime thriller Machete, alongside Robert De Niro and Danny Trejo in the title role. Daryl Sabara, Alexa Vega and Antonio Banderas are rumored to be reprising their roles in the successful franchise in which Ms. Alba will be an excellent addition to the newly worked version of the film. Gracing the covers of magazines and strutting the red carpet in style, she is definitely celebrated for her radiance an undeniable elegance, but Jessica is no stranger to taking on action packed roles, not only has been the female lead in both Fantastic Four films, she also earned a Best Actress Golden Globe Nomination for her starring role in the short lived Fox series Dark Angel. Alba will play a retired spy and mother of three in the highly anticipated movie.
