If it worked for Patch Adams, why not this? They're making a movie about Oscar the death-predicting cat.

Oscar is able to "predict" when people will die. Not exactly like guessing the number of pennies in the jar; he does live at a nursing home. But Oscar's real gimmick is to curl up with patients a few hours before their death. Psychic? I don't know. Animals do have a sixth sense about all sorts of things.
The cat's owner, Dr. David Dosa, contributed an article about Oscar to a medical journal three years ago, and his story became a big deal. Dosa wrote a book, which has since been turned into a screenplay at Wind Dancer Films and Anonymous Content. Fingers crossed, Bill Murray gets a call to voice the cat.
Making the Rounds With Oscar: The Extraordinary Gift of an Ordinary Cat outlines Oscar's gift or whatever; he's accurately predicted around 50 deaths, so, you know, high five to him. Seems a bit morbid to me, though. Maybe if they pair him with Keyboard Cat to play off the departing. That might be a little easier to swallow.
If nothing else, this move could clear the way, nay, stack the deck, for a Cats Who Look Like Hitler movie.
