Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 3:02PM Get Buried to See Ryan Reynolds in 'Buried'
This is really cool, especially if you're in Austin. But if you're in Austin, you already think you're
cool because you're in Austin, so would this really stand out?

The Alamo Drafthouse, one of the most envied and maybe copied independent movie theater in the country, is doing something
special for Buried, the new Ryan Reynolds movie in which he spends
his time frantically clawing at the inside of a coffin. The movie's part of the Rolling Roadshow as part of the Drafthouse's
Fantastic Fest next month.
Here's where it gets interesting: You can attend the premiere of the film after watching the movie while buried. Uh-
huh. Good thing they didn't do this with Poseidon.
Sayeth the book of Face:

"We are looking for four volunteers to attend this special "Rolling Roadshow of One." Those who survive the screening are invited to walk the red carpet & attend the Fantastic Fest premiere on September 23rd at the historic Paramount Theatre with star Ryan Reynolds and director Rodrigo Cortés in attendance. "By RSVPing below, you are indicating your willingness to watch the entire film buried beneath the surface. 4 participants will be chosen randomly from those who sign up to participate. Please note, participants will be monitored by emergency medical service technicians for the duration of the screening."Always good to have emergency crews standing by while you're enjoying a movie.
