Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 12:22PM Stephen Baldwin is Working on a 'Bio-Dome' Prequel
I know, I know: It was hard enough to believe the "Stephen Baldwin is Working" part of the headline, but the 8th or 9th member of the Baldwin brood tells TMZ (via Worst Previews) that he's spinning some ideas for a prequel to Bio-Dome. Wow, I guess Glenn Beck is right: We do need to restore some honor in this country.

He could be trying to simply humor TMZ by giving the tabloid site an answer, but there is a precedent here: Back in 2007, Baldwin said he and Pauly Shore were thinking about a sequel to the 1996...um..."comedy?" that barely grossed $10 million. It's known because it's bad, as with nearly everything Pauly Shore has done. Took a piss in the stall next to him once; he wasn't funny then, either.
Anyway, the prequel didn't happen but Baldwin says it's not the end of the line. "I've been talking to the boys about doing a prequel," Baldwin confirms, already cooking up a way to account for how being 15 years older won't be problematic. "Not if Pauly and I play the parents."
This will never happen, not this way. There was no interest in the original, there's no tangible interest in either career, and it just seems like a lousy idea. Except, that is, to Stephen Baldwin.
