Friday, September 3, 2010 at 6:44AM Week in Review: 'Takers,' 'Piranha' vs. Cameron, Hollywood's Most Bankable Star
Machete will be the big story this weekend even if the numbers don't follow suit. The reason? There's not a whole lot else to talk about. The big story heading into the week was Takers, a movie that was supposed to struggle to get to second place on the box office rundown but wound up winning the whole thing. That can't last, though.

Thankfully, James Cameron talked before thinking again and unwittingly (I think) raked Piranha 3D over the coals for somehow cheapening 3-D. Well, it didn't, and it's frankly not any of his business, but it sure made for a nice headline. Also, you'll probably not guess - unless you've already skimmed the headlines below - which actor is Hollywood's most profitable. Here's a hint: It's not Hal Linden.
