Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 2:14PM New 'I'm Still Here' Exclusive Diddy Movie Clip
Got an email just now from our contacts at Magnolia Pictures letting us know they have released a clip featuring superstar hip-hop rapper, Diddy having a conversation with Joaquin Phoenix about producing a song together in upcoming film, 'I'm Still Here'.

In this entertaining clip, Phoenix tracks down Diddy at his apartment to propose that they make a song together. Diddy being Diddy, he gets right down to business and asks how much Phoenix wants to put into this project.
One exchange says it all about this clip:
Diddy: Do you have any money?
Phoenix: Well, how much do you need?
Diddy: How much you got?
While there are rumors swirling around that the whole plot is an elaborate hoax, I think it'll be really entertaining to see a guy like Phoenix meeting with hip-hop moguls to audition and try to become a hip hop artist.
I'm still here opens this friday, September 10th. Below is the synopsis given to us by Magnolia Pictures:
The directorial debut of Oscar-nominated actor Casey Affleck, I’M STILL HERE is a striking portrayal of a tumultuous year in the life of internationally acclaimed actor Joaquin Phoenix. With remarkable access, I’M STILL HERE follows the Oscar-nominee as he announces his retirement from a successful film career in the fall of 2008 and sets off to reinvent himself as a hip hop musician. Sometimes funny, sometimes shocking, and always riveting, the film is a portrait of an artist at a crossroads. Defying expectations, it deftly explores notions of courage and creative reinvention, as well as the ramifications of a life spent in the public eye.
