Creepy Trailer for 'The Resident'

I've never been a fan of Hilary Swank, unless she's in the boxing ring or pretending to be a dude.  The trailer for her new movie The Resident  is entertaining enough that it might bring me back to her corner, especially if the movie is nearly as good as the trailer.  The suspenseful thriller also stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan (pictured below) presumably as the landlord that stalks her. 

Here's the film's synopis from IMDB:  When a young doctor suspects she may not be alone in her new Brooklyn loft, she learns that the landlord (Morgan?) has formed a frightening obsession with her.

The Resident is directed by newcomer Antti Jokinen, which will mark the first full-length feature film he has directed.  They've pieced together a good looking trailer for the movie, so this may not be the last we see of Jokinen.  I'm certain having the brilliant Christopher Lee in the cast will help as well.  

Dramatic thrillers like this usually don't strike much fear in me.  However, this one looks pretty damn spooky.

it looks just as scary as any other thriller...a genre I love btw.

Ehh, has some potential I guess. Seems a lot like "Sliver" just with a less attractive/more talented leading lady. Can't help but have some concerns when the second leading actor in the film was a guest star on Grey's Anatomy and Supernatural. Also, not to mention the two actors have already been in a movie together. At the very least the film should compete for worst horror title of the year against "The Roommate".
