Sure Katherine Heigl is easy on the eyes, but unfortunately her acting talent hasn't always been as pleasant to look at. According to Deadline, Heigl will replace the lovely Oscar award-winning Halle Berry in the star-studded cast of Garry Marshall's romantic comedy New Year's Eve.
The film is a follow-up to last year's hit Valentine's Day and is about the lives of several New York couples and singles interwinning on one fateful New Year's Eve. Heigl will play the love interest of Jon Bon Jovi (gross). Luckily for the viewers sake, Heigl and Bon Jovi will only require a little screen time among the other actors in this massive project.
The cast also features a few bright spots with Jessica Biel, Hilary Swank and Sienna Miller. Overall, the rest of the it is filled out with horrible romantic comedy retreads like Ashton Kutcher, Josh Duhamel and Sara Jessica Parker. Ugh.
I didn't make an effort to see Valentine's Day when it came out, so it's doubtful I'll pay economy time admission or even a rental fee for New Year's Eve. The name Ashton Kutcher is usually a red flag that scares me away from seeing such movies anyway.
