Threee of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters are to blowing up on the IMAX screens again from now until October 6th. As part of "IMAX Big Movie Week", AMC is breaking open the vault to release Inception, Star Trek and Fast Five in the specialty theaters again. Fans can enjoy these mind-blowing movie effects one more time for only $7 per ticket.
None of the three were actually shot in IMAX initially, though Inception has some scenes that take full advantage of this format. This could be a great opportunity for those who missed these movies in theaters originally, as Inception and Star Trek are definitely worth seeing on the big screen (didn't get a chance to see Fast Five yet).
These seem like better options than the current crop of movies opening this weekend, plus the reduced ticket price is extra incentive. I may go to Inception again, since I've only seen it the one time. Watch JGL's fight, while running on the sides of walls and ceilings.
