The final American Pie installment, American Reunion is on the way and will be in theaters on April 6, 2012. The gang of Jim (Jason Biggs), Band geek/Mrs. Jim (Alyson Hannigan), Stifler (Seann William Scott), Shit Break (Eddie Kaye Thomas), Oz (Chris Klein), Tara Reid, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Mena Suvari return to the big screen for their high school reunion. Am I correct to assume Jim's dad (Eugene Levy) will also be there?
We have some early pics from American Reunion to share this evening courtesy of USA Today, showing our favorite high schoolers 10 years later.
Jim becomes the first man in the history of masturbation to inadvertently hurt himself in the process yet again.
Seriously all these dudes look almost exactly the same, minus the guy on the far left who looks like Borat.
I read somewhere that Tara Reid is making considerably less than her fellow co-stars in this one. Maybe they're paying her in Camel Cash.
The pictures came with some plot details as well: Jim and the Mrs. are married and are stressing out about their new baby. Oz is a famous sportscaster with a trophy girlfriend. Kevin (Nicholas) married someone other than his high school squeeze Vicky (Reid). That's all we know about this late 20s-early 30 something crowd.
I was just finishing high school when the first American Pie movie came out. So, forgive me for feeling old and eager to see this series of comedies put to rest for good. I swear each sequel has been progressively worse than the one before it. I'm hoping they go out on top with American Reunion.
At least, this crew still has Steve Stifler in the mix to make us laugh.
