We've seen George Clooney in almost every role imaginable: Presidential candidate, doctor, thief, hitman, Batman, con man and as a dude named Booker on Roseanne. And yes...I meant for that to rhyme.
I can't think of any other time, where I saw Clooney play a struggling single father, until now in the upcoming movie The Descendants. His performance in the film, written and directed by Alexander Payne (Sideways, Election) is already receiving Oscar hype and being lauded by some critics as his best effort ever. The odd thing being that the movie doesn't arrive in theaters until November 18th. I guess this Clooney fella is more than just a pretty face, more than meets the eye.
