Three Obnoxious Teens with Super Powers in 'Chronicle' Trailer

Don't let my headline discourage you from watching the trailer for Chronicle.  It looks like a cool super hero movie without the hero factor and minus the ridiculous costumes.  What do you have left after that?  Three obnoxious teenagers, all friends who somehow discover they possess super human abilities and use them for practical jokes.  Only one day one of these gifted youngsters (pictured above) decides to take it a step further and does something extra naughty.  This leads him down the path of villainy and darkness.

The only recognizable star in this soon to be under-the-radar indie from newcomer Josh Trank and written by Max Landis is  Michael B. Jordan (not the greatest basketball player ever) who played the star high school quarterback in season 5 of NBC's Friday Night Lights.  You can also see him in the upcoming WWII pilot movie Red Tails.
