New '11-11-11' Trailer

Darren Lynn Bousman has been keeping fairly busy since leaving the Saw franchise. Some think that 11:11 is the gateway in unleashing demons and evil forces in our world. His new film 11-11-11 certainly looks like a breath of fresh air we've all been waiting for. Check the trailer below.

Certainly, "the whole recurring numbers thing has been done to death, but something about the hint of satanic rituals, dark portals and mysterious evil powers" is most interesting. Directing Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV of the ultra-gorefest tends to leave you doing something else, and so Bousman has. (Personally, I think Repo! The Genetic Opera is his best directorial effort to date. Considering I still haven't seen Mother's Day.)

Here's a quick take on 11-11-11:

An author travels to Barcelona to see his estranged brother and dying father, where he learns that his life is plagued by events that occur at 11:11.

Some think that 11:11 is the gateway in unleashing demons and evil forces in our world. Certainly, "the whole recurring numbers thing has been done to death, but something about the hint of satanic rituals, dark portals and mysterious evil powers" is most interesting.

The film will be getting a limited release and will be released on November 11th, 2011. I'm not too sold on the gimmicky release date, even though its mostly acting as a marketing buzz machine.

11-11-11 is written and directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. Starring Timothy Gibbs, Michael Landes and Brendan Price.
