That Ryan Gosling fella sure likes his vehicles, as you can see in the first picture released from his next film A Place Beyond the Pines. Gosling stars as motorcycle stunt rider who considers a life of crime in order to take care of his family, which leads him down a dangerous path towards a cop-turned-politician in Bradley Cooper.
Below are two new photos of Gosling and Cooper from the set of Derek Cianfrance's (writer/director of Blue Valentine) crime drama that won't arrive in theaters until at least 2013.
The first pic provides another look at a blonde haired Gosling, who's 2 for 2 on playing the role of a stunt performer who also moonlights as a criminal of some kind.
Now the antagonist Officer Bradley Cooper a.k.a John Law is shown here presumably in pursuit of a bad guy(s).
So all I can tell about A Place Beyond the Pines thus far, is it's Cooper vs Gosling (Cops vs Robbers?). Rose Byrne, Ray Liotta and Eva Mendes co-star in the film. If it's even half as creepy and dark as Blue Valentine, I'm in.
