Monday, October 31, 2011 at 7:14AM Bill Murray, Two Others Enlist for Charlie Sheen's Next Film?
Writer/director Roman Coppola (the lesser known Coppola) is assembling a very diverse cast of characters for his directorial feature film debut A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III. The film that stars bad boy Charlie Sheen as a graphic designer, whose life turns to crap when his girlfriend leaves him has added a few more familiar faces to the fold. According to Variety, Bill Murray, Mary Elizabeth Winstead (The Thing, Scott Pilgrim vs the World) and Patricia Arquette have joined the cast.
Over the last few weeks Jason Schwartzman, Katheryn Winnick and Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) have also signed on. We don't know which actors Coppola has in mind for the films roles yet, other than Sheen.
Doesn't Sheen play a man whose life is in utter chaos in reality too? No need for much improvisation here.
Bringing in a phenomenal actor like Murray is a no-brainer, because it's doubtful a film headlined by Sheen only would make much money. It's even better to see Murray return for a role in general, really. I haven't seen or heard from him since the Fantastic Mr. Fox, so I'm more excited about the news of this upcoming film than I otherwise would be.
A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan the III is currently filming and is labeled as a comedy. It is expected to be released theatrically sometime in 2012.

Seems really good : the cast is great and Coppola Jr is talented (by the way it is not his 'debut' he already made a movie : CQ and he works with Wes Anderson since a long time.

Think I'll play devil's advocate for a moment. If you like Star Trek, call me Q. Either way, the role's the same. I love mmmmeeeeeeee!!!!!! Let's say I'm a big time movie star. I am the world, baby. Let's say I've lived let's say, not quite so wisely and well, it bit me in the butt. I'm dying, because of the way I lived my life. Let's say that before my beaufiful face is ravaged by the oppresive apsect which plagues my self-serving existance, I simply must hide this from the public. That accountability thing is so unseemly, those tabloids are so pesky, the truth is so ugly and if anybody knew yeah it might change their direction, but I don't care about them. I love mmmmmeeee!!! Birds of a feather do flock together) to map and plan diversions to trick people into believing I'm still my vibrant, beautiful, and can-do-no-wrong self. We plan false news releases. That'll get 'em! How about movies I'm not going to make, events I know full well I won't be there to attend and the whole time, I can laugh myself silly at BS'ing all of those people who "think they know what love is" because they say they love me. Here's the finger to you, suckers! They'll be going round on Rondo to try and figure out what happened when they finally hear the news. I'm so smart! All of those fake tweets are a big help, too! To all those who say you love me: You are not preapproved in my perfectly planned, and sculpted world. I know it my hurt when I'm gone, but don't worry, you'll get over it and if you don't, I don't care. Afterall, I love mmmmmmeeeeeeeee! I must be a genius!
