Michelle Williams has some tough shoes or bra to fill in her portrayal of America's favorite blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming movie My Week with Marilyn. More importantly, we won't have to wait until the movie's November 4th theatrical release to see how she does, because the film's first trailer is right here for your viewing pleasure.
The story isn't a biopic of the sex symbol, but rather a story told from the perspective of Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne), a young assistant who worked for Sir Laurence Olivier (Kenneth Branagh) when he starred in the movie The Prince and the Showgirl with Monroe in 1957. My Week with Marilyn captures the alleged romance between Monroe and the young assistant, and is based upon the book Clark wrote about his experience called "The Prince, the Showgirl and Me".
The movie looks good, and if Williams is well received for performance as Marilyn that could equal Oscar gold for the actress. Check out the trailer courtesy of Yahoo!Movies.
