After over a decade of enchanting fans on screens across the world, the creative team behind Warner Bros. highly successful Harry Potter movies are getting the Outstanding Contribution to Cinematic Imagery award from the Art Director's Guild. The ADG's 16th Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards will take place on February 4, 2012.
At the event, key members that were behind the creativity within the movies will be honored including producers David Heyman and David Barron; director David Yates; screenwriter Steve Kloves; production designer Stuart Craig; art director Neil Lamont, and set decorator Stephenie McMillan; and none other then the creator and author, J.K. Rowling.
The ADG’s cinematic imagery award is given to those who have enhanced the audience's movie going experience by having outstanding visuals. This is the first time that the guild has selected a motion picture series for this award.
With decades of magic that has generated over $7 billion dollars, the Harry Potter series lives on.
