Friday, November 11, 2011 at 4:20PM Fearless Forecast: Immortality Reigns At The Box Office
Ahh! Another Friday, another Fearless Forecast. Last week, Puss in Boots seemed to be losing on Friday but in an amazing comeback, defeated Tower Heist and A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas. But can Puss go three weeks at number one especially with six films opening this weekend (mind you, only two films have wide releases this weekend)? Opening this week is Immortals, Jack and Jill, Melancholia, J. Edgar, London Boulevard, and 11-11-11. Here are my projections for this weekends box-office.

1. Immortals ($24.9 million)
The Tarsem Singh sword-and-sandals fantasy film has everything: Action, Greek Gods, fantasy elements, and Freida Pinto in a grand-scale. Tarsem Singh's track record at the box-office is somewhat spotty. The Cell, his first film, opened at number one while his second film, The Fall, opened at 34. Immortals, however, shall prevail this weekend. This is a great chance for audiences to see if Henry Cavill is a great heroic figure, especially since his next big film role is the Man of Steel. We'll see.

2. Puss In Boots ($21.5 million)
Has the cat been defeated? I think so. Puss made a somewhat solid debut about three weeks ago, beating out Tower Heist and Paranormal Activity 3. This is when the hype is dying down a bit and competition from Adam Sandler's Jack and Jill.

3. Jack and Jill ($17.1 million)
Sadly, this film will make money. Despite this film being aimed at children, it seems as though Dugan, Sandler, and everyone else involved thinks our children are stupid, like our kids will watch anything despite how bad the writing, acting, or comedy is. Nevermind, I forgot about MTV and Tosh.0. This years Just Go With It opened up at number one while Zookeeper, another Sandler produced family debuted at #3. Maybe children are smarter than projected.
4. Tower Heist ($14 million)
Amid homophobic remarks from director Brett Ratner, Tower Heist might take a huge loss this weekend. Even Eddie Murphy quit hosting the Oscars.
5. J. Edgar ($10 million)
Clint Eastwood's biopic of the controversial figure will round out the top five with $10 million. Films directed by Eastwood don't do so well at the box-office. His last film that opened pretty well was Flags of Our Fathers, which debuted at number 3. DiCaprio won't help despite Inception opening at number one last year.

It's one undeniable fact ( empty ) buckskin overcoats make your comeback! GHD Red Lust Several may possibly the traditional normal leather cover by no means definitely decided of like, yet admit it,GHD black, for those who have discovered some lad dressed in whichever gents leather-based cover which is a minimal sometime its use-by day (suppose restricted, Gold GHD dark colored, together with crooked zip fasteners), it might see not-quite-trendy. On their various forms, pure black GHD Red Lust, set spencer might be dressed out about anywhere you ambition to ample reason for every mini entity. Even the elderly aviator-style hat can surely still appear chilly, Pure White GHD when grouped with the fitting clothe plus equipment.
The Supreme Coach Outlet Court will soon decide whether to hear a new case, as the new guidelines would ease fears of legal challenge.
