Who would've thought that the film with a 3% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes would earn as much as it did this weekend.

Second place was Jack and Jill with $26 million. I guessed that the film would come in third place with $17.1 million but I guess our children were tired of Humpty Dumpty and Puss in Boots. But the question is can Jack and Jill stay consistent with the many weeks to come? I doubt that very highly. I was wrong before, though.
Third place was Puss in Boots for the taking. With $25.5 million dollars, Dreamworks and Antonio Banderas finally give some competition a chance. Puss earned 22% less money from last week, dropping from $33 million.
Brett Ratner's Tower Heist placed fourth with $13 million. Maybe Ratner's homophobic comments turned around and bit him on the ass. I have a feeling that Tower Heist won't place in the top five next weekend.
Fifth is J. Edgar. The Clint Eastwood directed bio-pic earned $11.4 million; with being in just 1910 theaters, I think this film is the big winner of the weekend though despite having a rotten rating on RT.
