'Amazing Spider-Man' Poster Looks Awesome, Features Hilarious Caption

If you're reading this, you probably know that the 'Amazing Spider-Man' has some hurdles to jump over in order to be taken seriously.  It's remaking a massively successful franchise less than a decade old, thus killing some promised pay-offs that were built up in Raimi's movies.  That, and they've chosen to redo the freaking origin story.  Now, say you start off strongly with a poster that has an awesome image on it, and you just need a tagline.  What is the one thing you don't want to bring attention to?

Yeah, that's right. One of the most gratuitous remakes that we've seen so far is billing itself as "the untold story".  Because that's really going to fool us.  All cynicism aside, the poster itself actually looks great.  It uses a cool logo in a way that we haven't seen before, and it manages to look epic without trying too hard.  It's hard to say just how well things will turn out at this point, but the artistic direction certainly holds some promise.
