Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 6:58PM 'G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation' Trailer Not Too Bad
"Yo Joe!"The general consensus of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is that it sucked big time and was a box-office failure. A new director in Jon M. Chu (Step Up 3-D), a more formidable cast of Joes, The Rock and Bruce Willis, plus giving Channing Tatum fewer lines seems to have paid off for the G.I. Joe sequel Retaliation. A script written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland, Deadpool) also shows immediate potential for a better sequel ahead in the films first trailer.
The only things that went right in the first movie, Snake Eyes (Ray Park) and Storm Shadow are back for more epic ninja battles, plus new characters (new to movies any way) Roadblock (The Rock), Lady Jaye (sexy Adrianne Palicki) and the original G.I. Joe Colton (Willis) are introduced. Looks like the Joes are set up by Cobra this time and they have to fight to clear their name.
G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation will arrive in theaters on June 29, 2011. I'll see you there for that one.

Good.
A little late to release a trailer for a movie coming out in "June 29, 2011", don't you think? But still a good trailer, looks better than the first.
I think this is like a sequel/reboot much like Mission Impossible:III was. And that turned out wonderfully. Don't be surprised to see the same thing here. Of course it's six months away so that opinion could change during that time.
