Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 5:14PM The Teaser Before The 'Prometheus' Trailer

The first poster (above) for Ridley Scott's new Alien saga Prometheus emerged last week, while the films debut trailer will arrive this Thursday. Today GTBP gives you the teaser trailer before the real trailer, and for a curt 30-second trailer there's a lot to look at and get excited about. Scott himself discusses Prometheus and touches on what moviegoers can expect to see this summer (June 8, 2012) when this blockbuster hits theaters.
We are also exposed to some creepy Alien style footage that we've come to expect in these films over the years. Namely killer special effects and humans running for their lives, when they're combating the aliens with super cool weapons. You can see Noomi Rapace (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows) moving around in a space suit, along with a brief glimpse of Charlize Theron.
Here's the synopsis from IMDB: A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
I have extremely high expectations for Prometheus and want to see it about as much as The Dark Knight Rises this upcoming summer.
Now check out the teaser before the next trailer arrives.
