Standard Set of Character Posters for 'The Avengers'

The Avengers is quite possibly the most anticipated film of next year and we were already introduced to an exciting theatrical trailer.  What can Disney and Marvel do next to remind fans of how awesome the film will be?  They release character posters.  Yes, that's right, character posters.  We have Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, and more.  But the question is, are they any good?

The answer to that is no, not really.  Honestly, a brown paper bag has much more style than these posters.  Don't believe me?  Check them out for yourself.

Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to this film but with all the money Marvel and Paramount and Disney has more money should be given to the marketing department.  These are textbook examples of corny photoshop put to work.  What do you guys think about these posters?  

The Avengers opens May 2nd in the United States and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Sam Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, and Tom Hiddleston.
