Today is the last day for those fresh, new DVDs to hit store shelves before the end of a pretty good year. Certainly, the following list of DVDs should pique your interests as, like always, there is something for everyone. I am most excited for Shameless. Shameless, if you don't know, is quite good and I'm desperately looking forward to season 2, which, coincidently falls on my birthday. Here are this weeks quick picks.

Warren Christie, Ryan Robbins. Directed by Gonzalo Lòpez-Gallego
Three astronauts discover something unusual on the eighteenth mission to the moon. Told in a found footage style.
I would tell you to read my review, but let's just say the film is adequate.

A group of teens must learn to cheat death after escaping a bridge collapse.
One of the best films in the series
Shameless: The Complete First Season
Follow the Gallaghers in their everyday struggles of parenthood, love, agoraphobia, public drunkenness, car theft, and pedophilia.
I definitely recommend picking this up before the season 2 premier on January 8th.
DVD List
So, what is your favorite DVD or Blu-ray release for the whole year? I would say mine is the Pulp Fiction re-release on Blu-ray.

Sadly A Good Old Fashioned Orgy was quite disappointing.
Shame to have a pretty good comedic cast go to waste.
It really was a shame, because the premise had so much potential.
