Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:23AM Michael Bay Back for 'Transformers 4', Critics Groan

I'm not gonna mince words: I hate the Transformers movies. I hate them at every conceivable level. The stories are horrendous, the "humor" is irritating and what should be exciting action scenes are ruined by hyper-active camera-work that looks as though it was edited by a crack addict. I blame pretty much all of this on the director, Michael Bay, who was reportedly going to leave the franchise to wage his never-ending war against quality elsewhere. Vulture recently reported, however, that Bay will direct the fourth film in the franchise.
Michael Bay is really one of the only filmmakers whose success completely baffles me. I haven't liked any of his movies since 1996's The Rock, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen still stands as the worst experience I've ever had in a movie theatre. This isn't because his movies are action heavy romps, I can enjoy style over substance blockbusters as much as the next guy. But the action that pervades his films is almost always a garbled, headache-inducing mess. Remember the confusing fight scenes from Batman Begins? Imagine those scenes were the entire focus of the movie, and then you have how nearly everything Michael Bay has done feels like to me.
With that out of my system, I can say that it's also been reported that before Transformers 4 Bay plans to film a smaller-budget dark comedy called Pain and Gain. It's set to film in early 2012 and stars Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg. I won't pretend that I have high hopes for it, but I'm always willing to be surprised. Maybe the smaller budget will get Bay to dip into other, better film making aspects to focus on.

Ditto on so many levels....
Ohhh, poor little baby-blogger. The baby-blogger hates Transformers and is desperate to be heard. Is it hard to be in the minority, moron? Is it hard when you know that no matter what you say, no matter how much hate you spill, you're not going to change a damn thing?
Is it hard for you to know that Bay is one of the most powerful and influential filmmakers in the world? Is it hard for you that the last Transformers film is the 4th most successful movie of all time worldwide?
Yeah, I bet you're angry as hell, which is good news for people like me, who like these movies. It's simply great watching small, insignificant haters like you getting all worked up, because they realize that they can't change anything. At all.
And a free advice from me to you, smartass: next time you decide to write crap articles, don't make the mistake of treating your own completely subjective opinion as fact. Makes you sound pathetic.
And you don't want to be a pathetic, hateful little blogger now do you?
Dave: I have to agree with the baby blogger on this one. There's really no reason to get angry about this article.
Hey, Dave, you are hilarious. I say that because your insignificant little rant has brought joy to my heart because no matter how much hate you have, you can't change a damn thing. Ha ha. People have opinions and just because yours and Hoffman's differ, doesn't mean you have to cry about Transformers. It's fuckin' Transformers.
I'm pretty sure what every that sh_t was that you were typing does not bother the writer of this article, know why? Because you(Dave) do more than backup the idea/opnion that the maker and veiwers of these fims are idiots and talentless children. It's easy to make stupid sh_t for stupid a__ people. Thanks Dave, I could never hate such an open and willing fool, you guys are so much entertainment.
