'The Hangover Part II' Gets a Short But Sweet Teaser

Hot off the DVD release of Due Date, Todd Phillips and company decided to release the first teaser for the much anticipatedThe Hangover Part II.  And might I say, it is perfect.  As Jay-Z's track 'Reminder' kicks up on the soundtrack, we're greeted with a bunch of quotes reminding us just why we loved the first film.  Then comes the good stuff.  Like the title says, it's short but it's sweet and it tells us everything we need to know.  The wolfpack is back, they're in the most unsavory parts of Thailand, and a few character bits I'll save for you to see in the trailer itself.

Did I mention there's a monkey in little person clothes?

So Alan's bald, Stu has a Mike Tyson face tat, and the monkey seems to like Phil.  I can't remember a comedy sequel to have ever had this much interest and fan anticipation, so expect the studio to play into that over the next few months with their marketing.  Let's just hope the final product delivers come Memorial Day.

And, to second Alan's sentiment, it is nice to see the three of them back together again.  My only question is, where's Doug?!

Todd Phillips is a genious. Before I watched the trailer, I was like can't wait for Hangover 2 to come out Memorial Day weekend. After watching the video, I am as pumped as when I saw the first preview for the first movie. Todd Phillips knows what he's doing. I don't expect it to be as good as the first one but I do expect it to make me laugh a lot.
