I'm glad to see the underrated Gleeson (pictured below) added to the cast, since I've loved his past performances in the films Braveheart, In Bruges, Green Zone and Gangs of New York. 

Director Daniel Espinosa's Safe House is about a group of bad guys who destroy a CIA-operated safe house, and the facility's house sitter (Reynolds) must work to move a criminal (Washington) to a safer location. 

The roles of the unforementioned actors are unknown at this time, but I assume Cunningham and Gleeson will be among the villains trying to eliminate Washington's character Tobin Frost.  Shephard and Patrick are usually typecast as supporting good guys.  Of course, these predictions are nothing more than speculation on my part based on other roles I've seen them in.

Universal has decided to fast track Safe House and start shooting next week in hopes of making a February 10, 2012 release.  It should be a cool movie when it's all said and done.
