A couple weeks back, we told you about how awesomely terrible Wonder Woman's costume is for NBC's live action TV series. The shot above is her old costume, and it looks like somebody's Halloween costume. You know the ones that girls in their 20's wear as an excuse to look sexy/slutty in public.
Well, the producers heard the negative reaction and changed the costume to a more realistic, less shiny costume. Here's the photo courtesy of Yahoo!:
Ugh, still looks terrible. Kind of like a Judge Dredd costume. She looks like a backwards cowboy and I don't mean the sex position. You know about 10 years back someone mentioned to me that live action superheroes in bright tights would look kind of stupid. Until now, I've been able to show him how awesome Batman looks, or even a brightly colored Spider-Man. But that's until now...

And thankfully they removed the doll makeup. Still doesn't make up for her blank facial expression. I'm expecting some pretty stiff acting. Do you think they'll let it have a full season, or just cut it off midway?
I think it all comes down to how this plays. I'm sure they're not going for the camp of the 70's series. If they can hit the sense of innocence clashing with the modern world that they had in "Superman: The Movie" this might work. If they're playing this straight though there's just going to be too many laughs at it.

Besides the boots, that looks like the exact same costume, just with different lighting.
Yeah, I guess the first version looks "wet" or "shiny" and that seems gaudy so I guess they figured if they flattened the colors it would make her seem more "genuine" like Levi's jeans.
THEY HEARD US???? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? STILL AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL! I am not going to bother even tuning in! I do not understand what in hell is so difficult about getting it right? And these people are paid millions? Aren't things supposed to improve with time? Do they call this an improvement? Candy apple red, Lilly white and royal blue, star-spangled leotard. NOT NAVY JEANS, DULL RED AND TARNISHED BRASS. She needs thick lustrious black hair, not stringy! Also, Wonder Woman wears heels, not flats! FAILURE! They still think they know whats better than the WW fans! Seems to be the trend in this country right now. Cram what people don't want down their throats. This will result in failure.
