Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 7:10PM New 'Thor' Clip, Plus Details on Film's 'Avengers' Cameo

With the release of Marvel's Thor a little over a month away, marketing for the next piece of the Marvel pie has kicked into high gear. The film had a presentation at this week's CinemaCon in Vegas and coming off of that, Marvel/Paramount have released a first look clip. It's about a minute long scene taking place almost immediately after Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) banishment to Earth where Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), Darcy (Kat Dennings) and their professor (Stellan Skarsgard) find the fallen god. We've seen some of this footage already in the trailers, but the full scene gives a better feel for what to expect tonally out of the film.
In addition to the clip, CinemaCon has also provided us with confirmation and details on The Avengers tie-in cameo within Thor. Check out both (or just the clip if you're trying to avoid spoilers) after the break.
To avoid the spoilery stuff first, here's the clip. Not a lot going on here as far as story goes but, like I mentioned before, it clues us in on the humorous tone within some of the film. Thus far, every trailer has been heavy on the action, which it should be considering most of the film will be those epic sequences. But it's nice to know that there will be some light-hearted moments here and there (ala Iron Man) taking advantage of the situational humor with the character in a foreign environment.
Oh, and don't read anything below the clip if you want to avoid the SPOILERS...
Now, if you're reading this article, I'm going to assume that you're familiar with the use of cameos within the Marvel films, all setting up next year's The Avengers. Well, part of the Thor footage screened at CinemaCon included the film's cameo, and it's [SPOILER ALERT] Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. CinemaBlend covered the appearance and it sounds like it's a pretty decent size "cameo".
"The scene we saw featured Renner as Hawkeye, working with the infamous Agent Coulson, played as he was in the Iron Man movies, by Clark Gregg. The scene features Hawkeye using his famous bow and arrow and he has multiple lines, so while we’re talking about something a little more than a momentary cameo, there’s no way to know if his involvement will go any further than that one scene."
Sounds awesome, right? Keeping that in mind, this next part might anger some of the Marvel purists. Latino Review also covered the presentation and had a breakdown of Hawkeye's costume in both Thor and The Avengers, and it ain't purple...
"The costume is not the purple costume from the comic books. But, it is a black sleeveless costume with a little bit of maroon. There is the Hawkeye symbol on the chest and he carries modern professional bow."
Thor kicks off the summer movie season on May 6, while The Avengers assemble a year later on May 4, 2012.

I gonna tell you for now my impression about this movie, a total failure, why? because the most sites give a bad calification, inclusive in some cinemas people give Viagra Pharmacy for each ticket for this movie.
