It has been a while since Steven Spielberg has directed anything (Indiana Jones and the Kindom of the Chrystal Skull), and even longer since he's directed anything good (Munich). I could go on and on about Indy, but for now I'd like to focus on his new venture in which he has teamed with Peter Jackson to bring us The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn . The typical story of a boy and his dog - that gallivant around the world searching for lost treasures. So, maybe it's not that typical.

Honestly, this project has intrigued me for a long time. The teaming of Jackson and Spielberg might be Hollywood's equivalent of LeBron James and Dwayne Wade. The poster itself captures the essence of the movie well. There is the globe trotting theme, the boy and the dog, and (perhaps most importantly) Spielberg and Jackson's names at the top. The colors really pop and bring the action off of the page to the reader. In my humble opinion I think that this poster hits the mark. There hasn't been much advertising for this film yet, and I think it's a good way to garner interest. The story is not well known here in the states so it might be a tough sell. That is if it didn't have the dynamic duo behind it.
