First Pic of Tom Hardy as Bane in 'The Dark Knight Rises'

I'm pretty damn excited to see Christopher Nolan's final Batman installment, The Dark Knight Rises.  Today it is my honor to share with all of you the first pic of the Dark Knight's evil nemsis Bane played by Tom Hardy.

And to answer your question ahead of time: yes Hardy probably used performance enhancing drugs to become so massive for the role.     

  

The picture isn't exactly the clearest, but the over shoulder upclose shot of the ripped up Hardy is pretty badass.  He looks like a half and half mix of a WWE wrestler (R.I.P Macho Man) and the Gimp from Pulp Fiction.  And while Nolan's Bane isn't an exact replica of the character from the comics (pictured below), I'm impressed with his selected appearance. 

The newest version of Bane is definitely an astronomical improvement of how the character looked in Joel Schumacher's Batman & Robin.  Now that I've seen Tom Hardy as Bane, I really really really want to catch a glimpse of Anne Hathaway hopefully rocking a skin tight Catwoman suit.  Meoooow!
