Monday, May 23, 2011 at 5:00PM Funny New Teaser Trailer & Poster for 'The Muppets'
The Muppets are coming back to the big screen this Thanksgiving and they're bringing funny man Jason Segel, Oscar nominee Amy Adams and a few other movie stars along for the ride. Today GTBP has a 2 for 1 special, the Muppets first poster (pictured below) minus the famous puppets, dubbed "Green with Envy", courtesy of impawards.com, and the film's first teaser trailer.
No doubt, your first reaction is similar to mine...Where are the freakin' Muppets?
SPOILER ALERT: Don't worry, the rom-com inspired poster is meant to throw the audience a curveball, as you'll see in the teaser trailer. The real story involves Kermit the Frog and those lovable puppets, with the help of three fans trying to save their old studio from being taken over by an oil tycoon.
I hope the late Jim Henson, creator of the Muppets and Sesame Street, would be satisfied with the big name cast list assembled for this latest Muppet adventure: Segel, Adams, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Zach Galifianakis and many more.

Where are the freakin' Muppets?
Sorry, dude that kinda sucked. Not funny. Not clever. Just meh.
We'll chalk that one up as a difference of opinion, I guess.
