'Rock of Ages': First Look With Tom Cruise

If the thought of Tom Cruise possibly being unable to sing is constantly on your mind, at least he looks like he's having fun playing the role of Stacee Jaxx, a 1980s rock star obviously tattooed and wearing rocker clothing (or lack thereof). Rock of Ages is directed by Adam Shankman for New Line Cinema. Cruise plays a pivotal role in the musical and would be singing tunes to the likes of Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead Or Alive". The film itself is described as: "A small-town girl arrives in Hollywood at the height of the 1980s rock-music scene."

Rock of Ages, is directed by Adam Shankman and written by Chris D'Arienzo. The cast also includes Paul Giamatti, Russell Brand, Malin Akerman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Bryan Cranston, Mary J. Blige, Julianne Hough and the recent out-then-back-in, Alec Baldwin. The film is set to be released June 1st, 2012.
