'Entourage' Star Kevin Connolly Trying to Helm Kimbo Slice Biopic?

How hasn't a movie about badass UFC star Kimbo Slice not been made already?  I damn near drop a deuce in my pants at the sight of this dude, and am glad to report his story might soon be gracing the silverscreen courtesy of an unlikely source in Entourage star Kevin Connolly.  

According to TheWrap, Connolly has plans to direct a biopic of the imposing MMA fighter and his improbable road to success that at one point saw him living out of his car.  The actor, with a handful of directing credits to his name announced that the script is ready and just looking for the necessary financing.

"I'm trying to get the Kimbo Slice story made."  Connolly said.  "I have his life rights. we have a script that's great.  It's out and about, and the powers that be are trying to put the money together."

To lend more authenticity to the role, the plan is to have Slice, whose real name is Kevin Ferguson play himself in the movie.  That's a stroke of genius right there.  No need to have someone like The Expendables Terry Crews butcher Kimbo's likeness, though his recent bit role in Bridesmaids was pretty funny.  

Word is Connolly hopes to start production on Kimbo's biopic after the 9th and final season of Entourage, starting on July 24 (Woohoo!) is wrapped up.  Until that day, you can see plenty of Kimbo's beatdowns a.k.a matches on Youtube and past UFC contests.
