Monday, June 27, 2011 at 12:09PM 'Toy Story 4' In Development Says Tom Hanks

With the running success of almost every single Pixar movie most recently, Cars 2, it probably won't come as any surprise that Toy Story 4 will be made. In an interview with BBC, Tom Hanks who stars as the voice for Woody in the animated film franchise Toy Story, was asked whether there will be a Toy Story 4 for his granddaughter to see.
Says Hanks, "I think there will be yeah. Yeah, Yeah, think they're working on it now. There you go." Check out the rest of the interview by clicking here.
Toy Story 3 has generated $1.06 billion at the box office and there's no signs of the franchise slowing down. With rising ticket costs and the use of 3D technology, I think there's a chance that Toy Story 4 will do even better than the third one.
By the way, this doesn't mean you'll see Toy Story 4 in theaters anytime soon or even next year. It's well known that Pixar takes their sweet time to make sure they produce a quality flick. Think 2014.

This is good news. With the success of Toy Story 3, why not ride those coat tails for another installment of the successful series? This is actually the way sequels should be down, when the prequel did astronomically well at the box office.
