Dwayne Johnson in Talks to Play Roadblock in 'G.I. Joe' Sequel

Dwayne Johnson is in talks to be part of Paramount’s sequel to G.I. Joe, directed by Jon Chu.

Johnson has been offered the role of Roadblock, the machine gunner/cook in the series.

Paramount and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura are bringing a brand new set of characters, Channing Tatum (Duke) is expected to return, but it looks like most of the characters from the first movie will be replaced.

This is definitely related to the buzz caused by Fast Five, let’s just hope that Johnson doesn’t become the star of every single major action movie for the next couple of years (Isn't that right, Mr. Diesel?)
