'The Thing' Trailer

I bought The Thing on blu-ray about two months ago when Best Buy was selling it for ten dollars.  I bought with the strong intention of watching it a few days later on Saturday night.  I have gone nineteen years without the film being spoiled, a masterful feat unheard of in this day and age of the internet world.  Then my best friend decided to spoil the entire movie for me.  With that said, the first trailer for the 'Prequel' film, The Thing has just hit the internet.  

I gave you that shpeel because I decided to bring you this article from fresh eyes and a fresh mind.  Some people who seen the trailer says that it looks the same as the original.  However, without seeing the original, I think it looks bad ass.

There's always something sexy about a chick with a flamethrower; it also helps if that chick is Mary Elizabeth Winstead.  The set-up for this trailer looks the same as the original trailer, theres an alien life form thingy implanting itself in person, killing people and so on a so forth.  If you want the synopsis, just read this article by Jack Thompson

Ahh, Ramona Flowers with a flamethrower.  Like I said before, it looks pretty bad ass.  But there are trolls out there in internet land that will say that this "looks like a piece of shit," however, that's just their opinion.  Let's just hope those skeptics are proven wrong when The Thing opens up on October 14th, 2011. The film stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Edgerton, Eric Christian Olsen, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and is directed by Matthjis van Heijningen Jr.
