Judd Apatow’s new film is currently shooting with Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann reprising their Knocked Up roles. The project serves as a spin-off with the couple, along with their kids, in an all-new story. Earlier in the year we reported that Megan Fox was cast in an unspecified role, now The Hollywood Reporter reported that two new roles have been casted.
Annie Mumolo, co-writer of sleeper-hit Bridesmaids, and Robert Smigel, co-writer of Zohan and the voice and hand behind Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog, have been cast as a couple who are friends with Rudd and Mann’s characters.
Mumolo recently, along with Melissa McCarthy, sold a pitch to Paramount with SNL creator, Lorne Michaels, attached to produce. Smigel is the co-writer of Jack and Jill, that horrible, horrible, horrible looking film with Adam Sandler, his frequent collaborator.
The untitled spin-off film is set to release on June 1st, 2012 and stars Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Melissa McCarthy, Annie Mumolo, Robert Smigel, Megan Fox, Chris O’Dowd, Albert Brooks, and Super 8 newcomer Ryan Lee.

It's actually set for release on December 21, 2012, not June 1.
