I welcome the San Diego Comic-Con International with open arms every year, because there's a flurry of news from movies and TV shows that amp up marketing and word of mouth. This applies to the quite insanely hilarious and grotesquely adventurous trailer for Knights of Badassdom. See after the jump.
"In Knights of Badassdom, live-action role players conjure up a demon from hell by mistake and must deal with the consequences... IndieVest Pictures has released the first trailer for Knights of Badassdom, down here at Comic-Con 2011."
Oddly enough, there's a bevy of HBO stars appearing in the film. Can someone better justify a hiatus for cable dramas than seeing Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) and Steve Zahn (Treme) all in one film? Not to mention Summer Glau (Firefly) and Danny Pudi (Community). Even if they play polar opposites than those their respective roles, the film gains a place on my must-see list.
Knights of Badassdom stars Peter Dinklage, Ryan Kwanten, Summer Glau, Steve Zahn and Danny Pudi. Directed by Joe Lynch, the film is set for a 2012 release and is produced by IndieVest Pictures and North By Northwest Entertainment.
