Friday, July 8, 2011 at 3:04AM Jeffrey Tambor Says 'Arrested Development' Movie Still a Possibility?
With Jason Bateman's Horrible Bosses set to open tomorrow, the inevitable question arises once again: when will an Arrested Development movie be made already? Jeffrey Tambor, who played George "Pop Pop" Bluth on the popular, albeit short-lived sitcom was asked that very question by the Huffington Post while promoting his latest film Lucky starring Colin Hanks.

For once, Tambor's response was much more positive than usual saying it was "all going straight, everyone's on board, I know they're writing, and maybe next time this year will be having this conversation."
I have to imagine the cast gets tired of getting asked this question all the time, but at least Tambor's latest quote might have legs to it. Arrested Development the movie does have it's own movie page on IMDB loosely suggesting a 2012 release. Works for me. No reason to get greedy on this one, especially since some of us never thought a movie would become a reality.
Mitchell Hurwitz has been awfully tight-lipped about it. I did pass on a report back in March where Jason Bateman admitted to seeing a portion of the script earlier this year and saying it was funny.
Fans we know the Arrested Development movie is coming. When exactly? Well that's the next question I hope to one day have an answer for.
