I was fortunate enough to get sneak preview tickets to the Harkins Theatre here in Arizona, and the place is nice, but I was looking and saw matinee prices were $10, getting ridiculous. But back to the premise of this article, 30 Minutes or Less is hilarious. This movie staring Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, and the gorgeous Dilshad Vadasaria will make you laugh so hard it will feel like a work out. The supporting cast is great, and this movie even though is short, is to the point and direct.
Nick (Eisenberg) is a pizza delivery boy whom is best friends with Chet (Ansari) just letting life pass him by as people close to him are growing up. Danny McBride and his sidekick Nick Swardson who play Dwayne and Travis come up with a foolhardy plan to kill Dwayne’s dad to get his inheritance early. They think they have come up with a foolproof plan of getting the delivery boy to rob a bank by strapping a bomb to his body with a vest and follow him around because when they mugged him they were in masks so Nick wouldn’t be able to identify them. The movie has something constantly going on and never lags. Watching Nick and his best friend get out of this situation if possible will make for an enjoyable time.
I definitely recommend full price for this movie if you can still afford it that is. This movie definitely worth it, a great date movie if she or he loves to laugh, or even to go with your friends. The run time is 83 minutes and in no part does it feel like it’s dragging. Definitely glad I got to see it early to make sure people get in this movie to have a great time.
