Adam Scott Deals with His Parents Divorce in New Comedy 'A.C.O.D'

You've probably seen this guy on Parks and Rec and the former underrated Starz series Party Down.  Now Adam Scott will tackle the difficult, yet awkwardly funny subject of divorce starring in the new comedy A.C.O.D (Adult Children of Divorce), according to Deadline.  (Note: I'm not saying divorce is amusing, only that it should be in this movie)

Scott plays a guy who experiences his parents' divorce at a young age, and is forced to act as the peacemaker between the two for his younger brother's wedding.  Think Meet the Parents style uncomfortable humor in this movie.  The kind of humor Scott is masterful at delivering with a straight face.

The promising comedy is being produced by Black Bear Pictures and the script was written by Ben Karlin (The Daily Show).  This will be one of many feature comedies scheduled in the near future for Scott, including a big screen adaptation of Party Down.
