Terrence Malick to Cast Christian Bale in Future, Untitled Project

A thousand apologies regarding another slow weekend for movie news...Don't shoot the messenger.  Luckily, here at GTBP we don't take weekends off, we're all about movies 24/7.  

We have a semi-exciting update on a future project that will see Christian Bale reunite with The Tree of Life director Terrence Malick, TwitchFilm reported yesterday.  The duo previously worked together on the film The New World back in 2005, though Bale was cast in a supporting role for that one.

Bale will naturally be the lead in this next currently untitled Malick project, which we unfortunately have zero plot information on.  The Dark Knight Rises star was also originally asked to star in Malick's next movie, an untitled rom com with Rachel McAdams, but he ended up being replaced by Ben Affleck.

Still any casting news is good news, especially when it comes to a talented actor like Bale (homeboy is definitely one of my favorites).  The untitled project will begin shooting next year about the same time the untitled McAdams/Affleck rom com is expected to debut.
