Captain America (Chris Evans) is off with The Avengers fighting bad guys in Cleveland last I checked, but that hasn't stopped one of his writers from talking new adversaries for the Captain America sequel. Screenwriter Christopher Markus admitted he's making a concerted effort to get MODOK as the next major villain and has Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage in mind for the role.

Markus who co-wrote the first film with Stephen McFeely recently discussed his idea, according to The LA Times.
"I love MODOK and I think you could make a terrifying movie with MODOK but nobody seems to be on my side at the moment. I will win you over to Peter Dinklage as MODOK. If he came around the corner and you saw him floating there you would be terrified. It would be amazing. [They] really pulled off the Red Skull. It doesn't look like a mask. It looks like it's fully integrated into his flesh. And I want to see what they can do with MODOK."
I can see why there might be some reservations about MODOK as the villain, considering he's a man whose head grew too large for his body and he can only move around with an armed exoskeleton hoverchair. The massive scale battles between him and Captain America could be entertaining, while a hand to hand matchup seems like it would be tough to pull off.
Markus was absolutely right about how good Red Skull looked in the first film, so maybe he's on to something that the rest of us just can't imagine yet.
What do you think about MODOK as the next villain? Who else should they consider?

Baron Zemo as the main bad guy, and a brainwashed Bucky Barnes as Winter Soldier to be the minor bad guy
I think MODOK would be excellent in a film! Absolutely amazing.
Only problem I see is the CGI, like stated,
I would only ever like to see MODOK in a film if he came as MODOK, a huge floating head with bionic arms and legs. If it was simpley a small man in a robot suit, then no - what'd be the point?
A good facial actor, a ton of CGI and you have MODOK! ;D
