Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 8:22PM 'Magic Mike' Casts Gamer Girl Olivia Munn
This is quite honestly the weirdest cast for a movie I've seen or heard of in a long time. The very beautiful and self-proclaimed gamer girl, Olivia Munn, is negotiating for a role in Steven Soderbergh's male stripper film, Magic Mike. Olivia Munn, who was formally known as the co-host of Attack of the Show (AOTS) on G4, is set to play Amber, the girlfriend of the titular character.
The film is based on the experiences of a 19 year-old Channing Tatum who worked as a stripper in Tampa, Florida. The film also stars Matthew McConaughey, Cody Horn, Alex Pettyfer, Riley Keough, Joe Manganiello and Gabriel Iglesias. I don't know if the film is a light comedy with dramatic elements or a drama with comedic elements.
I can't say I would go out and see this film because I honestly don't like Channing Tatum, but I like nearly everyone else involved in the film, especially Munn. Stay tuned to GTBP for upcoming Magic Mike news.
