First Pic of Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock From the Set of 'GI Joe: Retaliation'

Today we have the first on set image of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as the machine gun touting Roadblock from next summer's G.I. Joe sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation via Johnson's own twitter account (@TheRock).

I didn't think it was possible for a pair of guns to fire another gun, but the Peoples' Champ has made a believer out of me.  He's also a making a rather large M-249 SAW look much smaller than it actually is.  

Here's the pic of Johnson as Roadblock.

Johnson will join Channing Taum, Byung-hun Lee and Ray Park, who will be revising their characters Duke, Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes (the only positives from the first movie) in the Jon Chu directed follow up.  The new characters being introduced were some of my favorites from the cartoon: Flint (D.J. Catrona), Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki) and Firefly (Ray Stevenson).

G.I. Joe: Retaliation arrives in theaters June 29, 2012.  The good news being it couldn't possibly be any worse than the first one.
