Teaser Trailer for Nacho Vigalondo's 'Extraterrestrial'

Thanks to the Toronto International Film Festival for introducing yours truly to another cool movie I'd never have found about otherwise.  On Friday, there was incredible trailer for the Indonesian action film called The Raid (watch on GTBP if you haven't seen it yet), and yesterday a trailer for Spanish writer/director Nacho Vigalondo's Extraterrestrial popped up on my radar.

In this film, an alien invasion is the backdrop to a budding relationship between two perfect strangers.  A man wakes up in the apartment belonging to the woman of his dreams, whom he doesn't remember meeting the night before.  All the while, outside their windows extraterrestrial forces have taken over the city.  He's a stereotypical male, thinking with his dick instead of his brain.    

I guess what makes this movie look so appealing is that it reminds me of previous masterpieces like Monsters and District 9.  Both of those films had similar storylines, where love had much greater value to the characters than the presence of evil aliens.

There's no release information for Extraterrestial yet, though I'm curious to see what others think of this teaser trailer.
